Easy Rice and Cheese Casserole

Recipe makes 8 Servings

4 H-E-B Split Top White Bread, crusts removed
2 cup(s) Whole Milk
3 cup(s) long grain rice, cooked
3 cup(s) H-E-B Fancy Shredded Cheddar Cheese
3 H-E-B Large Grade A Eggs, beaten
4 Oz diced mild peeled green chiles
1 Tsp salt
1/2 Tsp black pepper

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Grease an 8 x 8-inch baking dish or 2-quart casserole.
Mix bread and milk in large bowl.
Allow bread to soak for 5 minutes.
Tear up bread with a fork into small pieces; leave in milk.
Add rice, cheese, eggs, green chilies, salt and pepper to milk and bread mixture.
Stir well, then pour into baking dish.
Bake for 45-60 minutes, or until center is firm.
