Recipe makes 6 Servings

12 Oz Chorizo de San Manuel, crumbled
2 large haas avocados, plus more as needed
1 large clove of garlic, zested or finely miced
1/4 cup(s) lemon juice
8 Mi Tienda by H-E-B Caseras/Homestyle Corn Tostadas, as needed
2 cup(s) shredded lettuce, as needed
1 cup(s) queso fresco, as needed to garnish

Instructions

Place a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add chorizo and cook until just crispy and fully cooked.

Drain off all excess rendered fat and set chorizo aside. In a bowl roughly mash avocado with garlic and lemon juice. Season avocado mixture to taste.

Build tostadas by spreading a little avocado mixture on each tostada, sprinkle on shredded lettuce then top each with crumbled chorizo, and queso fresco.

Repeat process with each additional tostada. Drizzle with your favorite salsa or condiments.

Chef's Note: You can also add a fried egg to top each tostada.
