Recipe makes 48 Servings

1 Lb H-E-B Sharp Cheddar Chunk, grated
1/4 Lb H-E-B Unsalted Butter
1 H-E-B Large Grade AA Egg
1/3 cup(s) H-E-B All Purpose Flour
1/2 Tsp kosher salt
1/4 Tsp ground cayenne pepper
1/2 Tsp paprika

Add to List


Mix cheese and butter until soft.
Add egg and water; beat well.
Sift flour, salt, cayenne and paprika together.
Add to cheese mixture in three additions, beating well after each addition.
Shape dough into rolls and wrap in plastic film or foil; refrigerate 30-60 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Roll out dough into a thin sheet cutting strips in three to six pieces.
Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 18-20 minutes or until just starting to brown lightly
