Caramelized Onion Potato Casserole

Recipe makes 16 Servings

30 Oz H-E-B Caramelized Onion Dip
8 Oz light sour cream
1 1/2 Tsp black pepper, freshly ground
1 Tsp thyme
1/2 cup(s) green onions, green and white parts, finely chopped
1 frozen southern style hashbrowns
2 cup(s) H-E-B Shredded Gouda Cheese
1 1/2 cup(s) panko bread crumbs
2 Tbsp olive oil

Preheat oven to 350ºF.
In a large bowl mix together dip, sour cream, pepper, thyme and onions. Set aside.
Break apart hash browns in bag so they are as separate as possible, defrost in microwave for 45 seconds if necessary. Stir into mixture and coat as evenly as possible.
Pour into a glass 9" X 13" pan and gently press flat.
In a separate small bowl, stir together bread crumbs and oil to coat lightly.
Spread evenly over top of hash browns.
Bake 1 hour or until top is nicely browned and potatoes are piping hot with a creamy, cheesy filling.
