1 H-E-B Meal Simple Broccoli Cheese Casserole Kit
3 cup(s) white rice, cooked
4 Tbsp salted butter
1/2 cup(s) celery, diced
3 cup(s) milk
3 Tbsp cornstarch

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Prepare enough rice to yield 3 cups of cooked rice. Cook rice according to package directions.
While rice is cooking, melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a large 6-quart pot. Add minced onions, carrots and diced celery. Stir-fry about 3 minutes or until the onions are soft, not brown.
Add broccoli, milk, cornstarch and spice packet; stir to combine. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly, for about 2 minutes.
Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 5 minutes stirring occasionally to prevent milk and spices from sticking to bottom of pan.
Remove from heat and stir in cheese and cooked rice. Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Pour the entire mixture in a large (at least 3 quart) casserole dish, cover with foil and cook 30 minutes; then remove foil and cook an additional 10 minutes.
