Recipe makes 6 Servings

2 H-E-B Peppercorn Bacon, cut in thirds
6 jalapeño peppers, seeded if desired
1 sweet yellow onion, cut into 6 wedges
3 H-E-B Zeema Sweet Tomatoes, each cut in half
46 1/2 Oz Central Market Pinto Beans, drained & rinsed
2 Tsp H-E-B Texas Originals Borracho Bean Seasoning
6 Oz light Texas beer
1/2 cup(s) cilantro, chopped

Instructions

Prepare charcoal or gas grill for cooking at 375°F.

Spray a mesh grilling rack with no-stick cooking spray and set aside.

Wrap bacon around each jalapeño pepper.

Using six metal or soaked bamboo skewers, thread one onion wedge, tomato half, and bacon wrapped jalapeño; set aside.

Combine beans, seasoning and half beer in skillet.

Simmer beans until liquid is reduced by half.

While beans are cooking, grill skewers on prepared mesh for eight minutes or until bacon is fully cooked.

Serve half cup of seasoned beans in each serving bowl, sprinkle cilantro, and top with grilled jalapeño kebab .
