Recipe makes 12 Servings

1 cup(s) canola oil
1 pkg ( 8 oz) butter crescent roll dough
1 cup(s) cinnamon sugar

Instructions

Place oil in medium size pot and heat on medium. Bring to 350ºF.

Remove dough from package and roll out on parchment paper.

Tear dough into approximately 24 pieces. Form into ping pong size balls and lay on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper.

Place cinnamon sugar into larger bowl to coat fried donuts. Set aside.

Drop dough balls into hot oil. Fry about 6 - 8 minutes or until dark golden brown.

Using slotted spoon, scoop out donuts and drop into cinnamon sugar. Roll to fully coat then place on a wire rack to cool at least 10 minutes before eating.
