Bacon Blue Cheese Steak Burgers

Recipe makes 4 Servings

1 Lb extra lean ground beef
1 Tbsp steak sauce
1 Tsp black pepper
1/2 cup(s) green onions, chopped
4 Oz mushrooms, sliced
4 Tbsp Better Than Good Bacon Jam
1/2 cup(s) blue cheese crumbles

In a large bowl, combine beef, steak sauce, black pepper, and green onions. Mix well and form into 4 equal patties.
Spray a large sauté pan with non-stick spray and over medium heat.
Sauté mushrooms until well browned. Remove to a bowl.
In the same sauté pan, spray a bit more non-stick spray then add the four preformed patties.
Cook 6 minutes on one side then turn.
Add 1 tbsp. of bacon jam to each burger, and then top with blue cheese.
Cover and cook a few minutes until the cheese begins to melt.
Remove from the pan and place on a plate. Top with sautéed mushrooms and serve.
