Apple and Gouda Stuffed Chicken Breast

Ingredients

Recipe makes 4 Servings

1 Lb chicken breast, about four 4 oz. breasts
1 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 Tsp salt
1/2 Tsp black pepper
1 Tsp fresh thyme, chopped
1 Fuji apple, sliced
4 Oz Gouda cheese, shredded

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a sheet pan with foil and set aside.

Using a sharp knife, carefully cut a pocket into each breast.

Brush outside of chicken with oil and season with salt, pepper, and thyme.

Stuff each breast with apple slices and shredded Gouda.

Transfer to baking sheet. Place in oven and bake for 20 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
