Agave Chicken with Black Beans & Onions

Recipe makes 6 Servings

2 Tbsp canola oil
1 1/2 Lb skinless chicken breasts
1/4 Tsp salt
1/4 Tsp black pepper
1 small white onion, chopped
1/4 cup(s) agave nectar
20 Oz black beans, rinsed, drained, and heated

Bring a medium sauté pan to medium-high heat, add oil.
Season chicken with salt and pepper.
Add chicken, sauté 6 minutes on each side or until no longer pink; remove chicken from pan.
Sauté onion in the same pan when they are slighlty translucent add agave and turn off heat.
Pour agave and onion mixture over chicken.
Serve over black beans.
