Kid-Friendly Easter Treats

After the Easter egg hunts and egg dyeing, keep your little chicks in the Easter spirit with these cute-as-a-button treats. All are great for brunch, snacks or dessert after Easter dinner.

Graham Cracker Easter Egg Nests:
Like a holiday gingerbread house, these fun little Easter egg nests can be decorated in a million different ways. Gather your child's favorite candy and let the decorating begin!

Step 1: Preheat oven to 375° F.

Step 2: In large bowl or stand mixer, combine coconut flakes and green food coloring.
Step 3: Stir in sweetened condensed milk.

Step 4: Spoon coconut mixture into mini crusts, about 2 heaping tablespoons each.
Step 5: Bake 10-15 minutes or until coconut just begins to toast.

Step 6: Allow coconut nests to cool before garnishing with mini and almond M&Ms. For extra chocolate, line graham cracker crust with mini M&Ms before filling with coconut mixture.



Reese's Stuffed Easter Egg Cookies:
These are large decadent cookies are easy to make and co+ok quickly. For smaller cookies, cut the Reese's egg in half legnthwise, cover with the cookie dough and follow recipe as directed.

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease cookie sheet and set aside.

Step 2: Cut 1-inch segments of sugar cookie dough and flatten with hands.
Step 3: Place Reese's egg in the middle and fold edges over until covered.

Step 4: Mold dough into egg shape.
Step 5: Bake 12 - 13 minutes. Check on cooies half way through baking. If eggs are not melting, press center down with the back of a spoon.

Step 6: Allow cookies to cool before decorating with icing.
