A New Orleans tradition since 1889. Shrimp Remoulade and Crabmeat Remoulade are classic New Orleans dishes, either as appetizers or main entrees. Serving Suggestion: Use as zesty replacement for tartar sauce with all types of cooked seafood. Also, great as a secret sauce to replace mustard on all kinds of foods.
Refrigerate after opening. Boil, peel, and chill 3/4 pound headless shrimp (or use 1/2 pound chilled crabmeat) and toss with 1/4 cup or to taste Remoulade sauce. Place on a bed of lettuce and serve. Serves about 2.
