A popular appetizer during Passover and any time of year, Ungar’s Classic Gefilte Fish is frozen and ready to cook. Simply add sliced onions and carrots to fish in boiling water and let simmer for an hour.

    Fish (White Fish, Pike, Mullet, and/or Lake Herring), Eggs, Onions, Sugar, Cottonseed Oil, Potato Starch, Salt, Pepper.

    Allergens and safety warnings

    Keep frozen. Do not defrost.

  • Bring 4 inches of water to a boil. Add 2 sliced onions, 4 sliced carrots, salt and pepper. Place frozen fish with inner wrapper in boiling water. Bring back to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour. Remove fish from water, discard inner wrapper and drain. Let cool. Refrigerate and serve cold.
