Uncle Ben's Fast Cook Recipe Long Grain & Wild Rice

Product Description

This easy and delicious rice blend provides a unique blend of 23 herbs and seasonings, along with a mix of wild rice and natural long grain rice. It’s an easy way to make an everyday meal a little more special in just a few minutes. UNCLE BEN’S rice has been an American favorite since the 1940s!

Preparation Instructions

Cooking Directions: Stovetop  Preferred Method: Step 1: Combine rice, contents of seasoning packet, 21/4 cups water and 1 Tbsp. butter up or olive oil (optional) into a medium saucepan. Stir well. Step 2: Bring contents to a boil. Reduce heat (medium-low) and simmer covered 20 minutes or until water is absorbed. Step 3: Remove From heat and set aside For 5 minutes before serving. To Prepare 2 Boxes of Uncle Ben's Long Grain &Wild Rice Original Recipe: Use 4-1/4 cups water and 2 Tbsp. butter or olive oil (optional) and Follow steps 1 and 2 of the stove top cooking directions. Microwave: 1. Combine rice, contents &seasoning packet, 2-1/4 cups water and 1 Tbsp. butter or olive oil (optional) in a 2-qt microwave-safe glass bowl. Stir well. 2. Cover tightly with microwave-safe lid or plastic wrap and microwave on High for 5 minutes. 3. Reduce to Medium (50%) For 15-20 minutes. Stir occasionally. Remove From microwave. Let stand covered For 5 minutes or until water is absorbed. Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate. Adjust cooking time as needed.
