The Cup of Poetry - This hand-picked tea is prized for its large silver-tipped leaves and pure peach flavor. Highly aromatic, completely lacking in astringency, this oolong has the flowery upper register of a top-grade Darjeeling, but with a rounder, deeper, fuller cup. Its flavor has been compared to chestnut, honey and peaches. This tea makes a delightful cup.
Drinking Tea Begins with Steeping Tea: 1. Fill the kettle with fresh; filtered water and heat to boiling. 2. Warm your teapot or steeping cup by swirling steamy water in it and then pour it out. 3. Place one teaspoon of leaves per cup into your pot or infusing basket. 4. Pour 6 oz of water per serving over the leaves and infuse for five to seven minutes. Experiment to find your favored steeping time. 5. Serving the tea. These oolong leaves are good for multiple infusions. Simply add more hot water to the pot as needed. 6. Add the used tea leaves to your garden. They make a health fertilizer for flowering plants.
