The Federalist Chardonnay pays homage to the contributions our Federalist founding fathers made to the US Constitution. Created in 1787, The Constitution is still considered the supreme law of the United states. The Federalist visionary, Alexander Hamilton, contributed to the Constitution's creation at the Philadelphia Convention and co-authored The Federalist Papers, which helped it gain public support. This Chardonnay features aromas of lemon, pear and a touch of cinnamon. Barrel fermented in 30% new oak and aged in barrel for 9 months, it is full-bodied with a long finish. 14.5% alc./vol. Cellared and bottled by 2Sons Winery, Rutherford, CA.
