Behind Chandni Chowk, the Moghul's Silver Street, in old Delhi, there is a lane called Paranthewali Gali where sons, grandsons and great grandsons have been making Paranthas since circa 1800. One such family is that of Pandit Gaya Prasad Chaurasiya, who set shop in this gali in 1854. Swad re-creates the original tradition of Paratha making with Panditji's recipes. Product of India.
On a preheated pan/tava place one frozen parantha. Heat the parantha for about 4-5 minutes on each side at a Low flame, being turned every 30 seconds. You & your family are now ready to relish the age old tradition of Paranthewali Gali. Keep frozen until ready to use.
