Description
Supreme Moong Beans are native to India and Pakistan, but are also found in other hot, dry regions of the world such as China and even southern Europe. The have many names, in addition to mung beans they are also called green gram or golden gram.
Used in both sweet and savory dishes, mung beans in some regions are stripped of their outer shells to make mung dal. In north and south Indian states mung is used to make pancakes which are the griddled.
