Preparation Instructions

For food safety and quality, follow these cooking instructions: Oven Cooking: For best results, use an 8 in. x 8 in. metal or glass baking dish. For a non-coated baking dish, add one tablespoon vegetable oil or coat with non-stick cooking spray before preparing. Since ovens vary, cooking temperature and time may require adjusting. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Pour contents of bag into baking dish. Cover baking dish with lid or foil and place on center rack in oven. Cook 30-35 minutes. Using pot holders and both hands, carefully remove baking dish from oven. Carefully remove cover and stir. Serve immediately. Microwave Cooking: To avoid damage to microwave oven, do not prepare product in bag. Since microwave wattage varies, cooking times may require adjusting. Pour contents of bag into a 1-1/2 quart microwave-safe dish. Cook on High for 8 minutes, stir. Cover and cook on High for 2-5 minutes; stir. Serve immediately. Baking dish will be hot. When removing cover from container or microwave-safe dish, be careful of escaping steam. Keep frozen until ready to use. Cook thoroughly.
