Description
This single vineyard wine is made with grapes grown on some of the oldest Sauvignon Blanc parcels in St. Supery's sustainably farmed Dollarhide Estate Vineyard. These parcels consist of heavy loam to sandy loam soils that result in a densely aromatic and richly flavored wine. 18% is fermented in new French oak barrels to add complexity and depth, while the rest is fermented in stainless steel tanks. Both components are sur lie aged for five months encouraging crisp, bright citrus flavors with a rich mouthfeel.
