Cheerful chocolate. All natural ingredients. May be prepared dairy-free or soy-free. Ready to spread in 5 minutes. The joy of frosting! I love chocolate frosting. In fact, I used to eat it right from the container! But even though I loved the convenience of ready-to-spread frostings, I felt guilty serving something so artificial. Since I couldn't find any frostings I felt good about, I decided to create my own using only all-natural ingredients. I searched far and wide for a non-alkalized cocoa before I found one with the perfect chocolaty flavor. I also discovered the secret to making it super light and fluffy is using just the right amount of real egg whites. I am delighted to present my Cheerful Chocolate frosting mix, made with all natural ingredients, no artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, or hydrogenated oils and lots of love! Things You'll Need: 6 tablespoons melted unsalted butter or margarine; 3-4 tablespoons milk or vanilla soymilk. Melt butter until just liquid. Mix frosting mix, melted butter and milk on High speed with an electric mixer or stir by hand until fluffy. (Tip: If butter is too hot, frosting may thicken slowly - put in fridge for a few minutes to cool). Spread on fully cooked cake. Makes enough to frost one two-layer 9 inch cake or 24 cupcakes.
