I used to make it from boxed mixes, but always felt guilty serving all those artificial ingredients. So I decided to create a delicious chocolate cake that my family would love and I could feel good about. Most boxed mixes use alkalized cocoa which gives them a dark chocolate color. I searched far and wide to find an all-natural cocoa with the perfect combination of chocolaty color and yummy flavor. I also found a delicious unbleached, un-bromated flour that helps give it that perfectly moist texture. I am delighted to present my cheerful chocolate cake mix, made with all natural ingredients, no artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, or hydrogenated oils and lots of love! Things You'll Need: 1 1/4 cup milk (or vanilla soymilk); 2/3 cup oil; 2 eggs. Baking: Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour bottom & sides of baking pan(s) or place paper liners in cupcake tray. Mix cake mix, milk, oil and eggs for 2 minutes on Medium speed with an electric mixer or whisk by hand. Bake: Two 9 In Round Cake Pans: 25-30 minutes. One 13 x 9 Inch Cake Pan; 25-30 minutes. 24 Cupcakes: 20-25 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan. Completely cool before frosting.
