You bake them fresh, filling your home with that unmistakably warm, appetizing aroma and a timeless sense of anticipation. Keep frozen. Bake before serving. 1. Place oven rack in center position. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Remove plastic overwrap from pie. 2. Open center hole of pie and cut 4-6 slits in top crust. 3. Center frozen pie in pan on aluminum foil covered cookie sheet and place in preheated oven. Do not remove pie from original pan. 4. Bake at 375 degrees F for 65 to 75 minutes. Pie should bake fore entire 65-75 minutes. 5. Remove baked pie carefully from oven on cookie sheet with oven mitts. Never handle by edge of pie pan. 6. Serve warm in 30 minutes or cooled after 2 hours. Pies are best when freshly baked. Store loosely covered at room temperature for up to 3 days. Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil to catch juices that may boil out during baking. Please Note: Baking pie on cookie sheet helps crust to bake more evenly. Because ovens vary, adjust time and temperature as necessary. Convection Oven: Follow the same directions, except: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and bake only for 50 to 60 minutes. Keep frozen until ready to bake.
