Preparation Instructions
Cooking Directions: Sort and rinse beans prior to cooking. Dried beans are a raw agricultural product and may contain foreign material. Bring 6 cups of water to a boil. Add the contents of the large bag to the boiling water. Cover tightly and simmer over low heat for 1 hour or until tender, stirring occasionally. During the last 10 minutes of cooking, add contents of spice pack to desired taste. Makes 5 one-cup servings. For a heartier meal, try adding chicken, meat (Note: If chicken or meat is added, soup is not pareve) or vegetables.
