All You Need: 2 1/4 cups water 1 Can (6 oz.) tomato paste* 1 Tbsp. vegetable or olive oil Makes 2-1/2 Cups Sauce: 1. In 2-quart saucepan, combine all ingredients Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low and simmer covered, stirring occasionally, 20 minutes. (For a sweeter sauce, add 1 teaspoon sugar or to taste) *Substitute 1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce for tomato paste and decrease water to 1 cup.
