Krusteaz Buttermilk Complete Pancake Mix

No wonder our buttermilk pancakes are so popular. With a blend of soft wheat flours, they come out light and fluffy every time — plus a touch of creamy buttermilk adds delicious flavor.

Preparation instructions

4-Inch Pancakes (6-7): 1 cup mix; 2/3 cup cold water. 4-Inch Pancakes (12-14): 2 cups mix; 1-1/3 cups cold water. 4-Inch Pancakes (18-21): 3 cups mix; 2 cups cold water. Tip: For thinner pancakes, add more water. For thicker pancakes, add more mix. 1. Heat pancake griddle to 375 degrees F (medium heat). Lightly grease griddle. 2. Whisk pancake mix and water. Measure mix by lightly spooning it into measuring cup and leveling it off. Whisk mix and water. Do not over-mix. Let batter stand 2 minutes. Pour slightly less than 1/4 cup batter per pancake onto griddle. 3. Cook until golden. Cook 1 to 1-1/2 minutes per side. For light and fluffy pancakes, flip only once, when tops bubble and bottoms are golden brown. High Altitude: No adjustment necessary. Favorite Waffles: 2 cups Krusteaz Buttermilk Pancake Mix; 1-1/2 cups cold water; 1 egg; 2 tbsp vegetable oil. Blend all ingredients together. Pour batter onto lightly greased and preheated waffle iron. Cook waffles until steaming stops or until golden brown. Serve with your favorite fruit and whipped cream; if desired.
