Prep: 10 min. Total: 8 hours 25 min. Makes: 7 servings (Recipe yields 7 servings when prepared as directed.). What You Need: 1 boneless beef chuck roast (2-1/2 lb); 1 lb small potatoes, quartered; 1 lb baby carrots; 1 onion, cut into wedges. What's Included: Classic Herb Simmer Sauce; Farmhouse Style Brown Gravy Finishing Sauce. Step 1: Add meat and vegetables to slow cooker. Step 2: Top with simmer sauce; cover. Cook on low 8 to 10 hours (or on high 6 to 8 hours) (Minimum internal temperature for roast 145 degrees F.). Step 3: 15 minutes before serving: stir in finishing sauce. Increase heat to high; cook, covered, 15 minutes. Tip: Omit potatoes. Serve over noodles or mashed potatoes. Refrigerate unused portion. Shake well.
