Since 1996, we've made our stock by roasting meat and bones with vegetables, light herbs and a touch of honey for sweetness. This is the closest to homemade stock that you can buy from a ready-to-use carton, can or jar. Now, we answer years of culinary requests with New Veal Stock. Veal Stock has been an important ingredient in cooking. In addition to many traditional recipes, veal stock is used for a variety of soups and sauces such as demi-glace. This all natural veal stock is slowly simmered with meat, vegetables and herbs for a full bodied flavor. Usage Ideas: Soups, sauces, or pour over veal before roasting. Allergen Watch: We strive to reduce the risk of allergen reactions by specifying that our ingredients must not contain milk (allergen tested), eggs (allergen tested), peanuts (allergen tested), glutens (allergen tested), soy, tree nuts, fish, shellfish or corn. We do not autolyze, hydrolyze, add or produce MSG. Diet Exchange: 8 oz = free food. Less Sodium: 480 mg compared with 890 mg in the leading broth. Product of USA.

Preparation Instructions

Shake before use. Do not microwave this carton. Refrigerate unused portion. Good for 7 days. Ready to use. Do not dilute. Refrigerate after opening and use within 7 days. Freeze leftover stock in freezable container or ice cube trays. Store frozen stock cubes in a resealable plastic bag and use within 60 days. Recommended use by date on package. Sauces & Gravies: For richly flavored gravy, add stock instead of water to veal roast pan drippings and thicken as desired. For savory pan sauce, pan fry veal cutlets in butter. Remove from pan. Add stock, stirring to loosen brown bits in bottom of pan. Cook until sauce is slightly reduced. Swirl in cold butter. Serve over veal cutlets. Grains & Lentils: Replace water with stock when preparing rice, barley, couscous, quinoa or lentils.
