Feeding Guidelines: c = cups; g = grammes; 1 cup = 97 grams. 3 lb (1 kg) weight of dog: 3/8 to 1/2 cup (30 to 35 g) daily. 10 lb (5 kg): 3/4 to 1 cup (85 to 95 g) daily. 20 lb (10 kg): 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 cup (135 to 150 g) daily. 30 lb (15 kg): 1-3/4 to 2 cups (180 to 200 g) daily. 40 lb (20 kg): 2 to 2-1/2 cup (215 to 240 g) daily. 50 lb (25 kg): 2-1/2 to 2-3/4 cup (250 to 280 g) daily. 60 lb (30 kg): 2-3/4 to 3-1/4 cup (285 to 315 g) daily. 70 lb (35 kg): 3 to 3-1/2 cup (315 to 350 g) daily. 80 lb (40 kg): 3-1/4 to 3-3/4 cups (345 to 380 g) daily. 100 lb (45 kg): 3-3/4 to 4-1/2 cup (370 to 415 g) daily. These guideline amounts are a starting point and your dog may need more food depending upon age, activity and temperament. In order to reach optimal body condition, you may need to adjust food intake. This represents the total recommended volume of food per day. You should divide the total recommended feeding amount by the number of times you feed your dog per day to get the actual portion size per feeding. Remember to have clean, fresh water available for your dog at all times. Because Iams ProActive Health Mature Adult Dog Food is complete and balanced for adult dogs, you do not need to add vitamin or mineral supplements.
