Directions for use. Use under medical supervision: 1. Empty the contents of one packet into 7 fl oz fresh cold drinking water. Stir until the Hydralyte powder has dissolved; 2. Sip slowly and frequently while symptoms persist; 3. Discard unused solution after 6 hours, or 24 hours if refrigerated. Dehydration Due to Vomiting and Diarrhea: Age: Less than 1 year; Take in first 6 hours (packets): 1-2; Maximum per day (packets): 5. Age: 1-3 years; Take in first 6 hours (packets): 2-3; Maximum per day (packets): 8. Age: 3-6 years; Take in first 6 hours (packets): 3-4; Maximum per day (packets): 10. Age: 6-12 years; Take in first 6 hours (packets): 4-8; Maximum per day (packets): 13. Age: 12 years-adult; Take in first 6 hours (packets): 8-10; Maximum per day (packets): 20. After the first day, consume a daily volume less than the maximum per day, as directed by your doctor. Dehydration Due to Fever and Heavy Sweating: Children 10-13 Years: Take up to 4 packets per day for up to 3 days or as directed by your doctor. 13 Years-Adult: Take up to 7 packets per day for up to 3 days or as directed by your doctor.
