Puppy Feeding Tips: Puppies begin to eat solid foods at 3-4 weeks of age. Keep Hill Country Fare Puppy available to these puppies at all times. If water is added, use no more than one part warm (not hot) liquid to three parts Hill Country Fare Puppy, changing frequently to ensure freshness. After weaning, at six to eight weeks of age, puppies will normally eat dry or moistened food at will. Feed very young puppies 3 times a day, older puppies twice a day. Use the recommended daily feeding chart provided as a guide. Feed to maintain ideal body condition. Slight appetite changes and occasional digestive upsets are normal in puppies. If upsets become severe or linger longer than a day or two, contact your veterinarian. Switching to Hill Country Fare Puppy: Changes in your pet's feeding habits should be made gradually. When changing over to Hill Country Fare Puppy in place of your dogs current food. Then over the next week to 10 days, increases the amounts of Hill Country Fare Puppy , while decreasing amounts of her or his other food, until your pet has 100% Hill Country Fare diet. Water: Provide your puppy with plenty of fresh water in a clean container daily. Easy to Feed: No need to add anything for taste or nutrition. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly.
