Amounts are based on a standard 8 oz. dry measuring cup. Amounts are recommended for an average puppy with normal activity. Remember food intake requirements vary depending on age, activity, and environment, and should be adjusted accordingly. Food consumption may vary during gestation, so feed the amount needed to maintain the pregnant female's good body condition, Food intake may double or even quadruple during lactation. Switching to Hill Country Fare Puppy: Changes in your pet's feeding habits should be made gradually. When changing over to Hill Country Fare Puppy, first substitute small amounts of Hill Country Fare Puppy in place of your dog's current food. Then over the next week to 10 days, increase the amounts of Hill Country Fare Puppy, while decreasing amounts of her or his other food, until your pet has 100% Hill Country Fare Puppy diet. Water: Provide your puppy with plenty of fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly. Store in a cool and dry place.
