Pan Fry: Heat skillet to 375 degrees F (Medium-High setting) with 3 to 6 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Add desired amount of frozen hash browns to skillet. Cook 4 to 6 minutes. Turn and continue cooking 2 minutes or until desired color and crispness are achieved. Season to taste and serve hot. Non-stick pan: Spray non-stick pan with aerosol cooking spray and preheat skillet to 375 degrees F (Medium-High setting). Add desired amount of frozen hash browns to pan. Cover pan and cook 2 minutes. Turn and continue cooking 4 to 6 minutes or until desired color and crispness are achieved. Season to taste and serve hot. Caution: Ice crystals will cause spattering when added to hot oil. Allow excessive crystals to melt prior to frying. Note: Cooking equipment may vary. Adjust cooking time as necessary.
