Adult Dog Feeding Tips: Changes in your pet's feeding habits should be made gradually. When changing over to Hill Country Fare Bites & Bones, first substitute small amounts of Hill Country Fare Bites & Bones in place of your dog's current food. Then over the next week to 10 days, increase the amounts of Hill Country Fare Bites & Bones, while decreasing amounts of her or his other food, until your pet has 100% Hill Country Fare Bites & Bones Formula diet. Easy to Feed: No need to add anything for taste or nutrition. Puppy Feeding Tips: Puppies begin to eat solid food at 3-4 weeks of age. Keep Hill Country Fare Bites & Bones available to these puppies at all times. After weaning, at six to eight weeks of age, puppies will normally eat dry or moistened food at will. If water is added, use no more than one-part warm (not hot) liquid to three parts Hill Country Fare Bites & Bones, changing frequently to ensure freshness. Feeding for Reproduction: Hill Country Fare Bites & Bones provides the extra nutrition needed by reproducing females in stages of gestation and lactation. Food consumption may vary during gestation, so feed the amount needed to maintain the pregnant female's good body condition. Food intake may double or even quadruple during lactation.
