Recommended Daily Feeding (Amounts are based on a standard 8 oz dry measuring cup. Amounts are recommended for an average adult dog with normal activity. Remember food intake requirements vary depending on age, activity, and environment, and should be adjusted accordingly. Toy Dogs (3-12 lbs): 1/3 to 1-1/3 cups daily. Small Dogs (13-20 lbs): 1-1/3 to 2 cups daily. Medium Dogs (21-50 lbs): 2 to 3-3/4 cups daily. Large Dogs (51-100 lbs): 3-3/4 to 6-1/4 cups daily. Extra Large Dogs (100+ lbs): 6-1/4 cups plus 1/3 cup for each 10 lbs of body weight over 100 lbs daily. Adult Dog Feeding Tips: Changes in your pet's feeding habits should be made gradually. When changing over to Hill Country Fare Bites & Bones, first substitute small amounts of Hill Country Fare Bites & Bones in place of your dog's current food. Then over the next week to 10 days, increase the amounts of Hill Country Fare Bites & Bones, while decreasing amounts of her or his other food, until your pet has 100% Hill Country Fare Bites & Bones Formula diet. Easy to Feed: No need to add anything for taste or nutrition. Puppy Feeding Tips: Puppies begin to eat solid food at 3-4 weeks of age.
