Rest the kitten on its stomach and hold the bottle at a 45 degree angle from above while feeding. Sterilize the bottle and nipples before and between uses. Keep kitten warm and stimulate to go to the bathroom by gently rubbing its genitalia with a cottonball moistened with water (preferable before and after feeding). This is essential for its survival. When nursing, kittens should be weighed daily to make certain they are growing properly and to help gauge proper feeding proportions. If the kitten develops diarrhea, cries constantly, fails to gain weight or becomes lethargic, consult your veterinarian.
