    Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw meat separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils and hands after touching raw meat. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard.
  • Oven: Preheat oven to 300°F. Season roast and place bone-side down in shallow roasting pan. Cook uncovered in center of the oven for 15 - 18 minutes per lb. Remove from oven when meat thermometer in center of ribeye reaches 135°F. For a juicier roast, let rest for 20 minutes before carving.
