Wash working surfaces including cutting boards, utensils, and hands after touching raw meat. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard them.

Some food products may contain bacteria that could cause illness if the product is mishandled or cooked improperly.- Grill: Heat charcoal for 40 minutes until ash-covered or preheat gas grill for 10 minutes with lid closed. Cook patties for 5 minutes per side over medium-low heat (325°F). Bank coals on one half of the grill or reduce gas heat to low. Move patties to the cool side (indirect heat), close lid and cook for 5 - 7 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
