Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils, and hands after touching raw meat or poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard.- Smoker: Preheat smoker or pellet grill to 225°F. Place brisket on smoker for 2 – 4 hours. It's important to maintain a consistent temperature in smoker throughout the cooking process. Remove brisket when desired tenderness is reached. Let rest for 10 minutes before cutting/serving. Other Option: Sear and braise brisket at 350°F for 2 – 3 hours.
