  • Preheat flat-top grill or skillet on medium-high heat for 2 minutes. Place burger balls on grill/skillet seasoning side down and press using spatula or burger press. Press burgers as thin as possible to promote seared texture and flavor. Cook on each side for 2 – 4 minutes until desired level of sear is reached. Cook to minimum internal temperature of 165°F. Optional: Place thinly sliced onions on grill and smash the burger into the onions. Top with cheese.
