3 Cups (4 Servings): 1 cup rice; 2 cups water or broth; 1 tbsp butter/oil. 6 Cups (8 Servings): 2 cups rice; 4 cups water or broth; 2 tbsp butter/oil. Stove Top Method: Place butter or olive oil into a sauce pan with a lid. Allow it to melt over medium heat. Add in the rice and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes. Add in the water/broth. Bring to a boil, put on the lid and reduce heat to the lowest heat setting. Cook for 20-30 minutes or until rice is fully cooked. Fluff with fork and season to taste. Rice Cooker Method (Follow Rice Cooker Instructions): Place butter or oil into the bottom of the rice cooker. Add rice and water/broth and cook. Fluff with fork when done and season to taste.
