But turn that into a premium natural hardwood smoked sausage and it's H-E-B chorizo gringo. It's great from the grill, stovetop or microwave, all with less mess. Wrap it in a tortilla, put it in a bun, slice it up in your favorite pasta dish or the traditional way, with eggs for breakfast.
Keep refrigerated. Heating: 1. Heat charcoal 40 minutes until ash covered or gas grill 10 minutes with lid closed. 2. Grill 4 inches above medium-low heat. Hold palm above grate. If heat causes you to pull away in 5 seconds, heat is ideal (approximately 325 degrees F). 3. Grill approximately 5 minutes per side. Remove and serve.
