Description

Whip up a chicken teriyaki stir fry in about 20 minutes with this H-E-B Dinner Starter. Sliced and seasoned, these chicken breasts are boneless, skinless and have no artificial ingredients. Just add brown sugar, soy sauce, broth, corn starch and veggies. You can also use this dinner starter as the base for other chicken-based dishes, too.

    Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts with Rib Meat, Seasoning (Brown Sugar, Maltodextrin, Sugar, Dehydrated Soy Sauce [Soybeans, Wheat, Salt], Dehydrated Pineapple Juice Concentrate, Salt, Sodium Bicarbonate, Corn Starch, Spice, Vinegar Solids, Flavorings, Natural Flavor, Sesame Seed, Caramel Color, Dehydrated Green Onion), Water, Sodium Phosphates, Sodium Lactate and Sodium Acetate.

    Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces (including cutting boards), utensils and hands after touching raw poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard.
  • Teriyaki Chicken Stir Fry:
    Heat a large skillet on medium-high for 1.5 - 2 minutes or until hot. Add 1 Tbsp oil and stir fry about 2 cups fresh veggies for 2 minutes. Add 1/2 cup water, cover and cook for an additional 1 - 2 minutes or until crispy-tender. Remove from pan and reserve. Add chicken and 1 Tbsp oil to skillet. Stir fry for 6 - 7 minutes, stirring continuously, or until the internal temperature of chicken is 165°F.

    Mix together 1 cup chicken broth and 2 Tbsp corn starch. Set aside. Add 2 Tbsp brown sugar and 2 Tbsp soy sauce to skillet and stir well. Finally, pour in broth mixture and cook 1 - 2 minutes or until sauce thickens. Toss in veggies and serve with rice.
