Preparation Instructions

Keep refrigerated. 1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in stock pot over Medium. Brown shanks 3 min/side. 2. Cover with cold water. Slowly bring to a simmer. Skim gray foam from top until broth is clear. 3. Add seasonings from the seasoning packet. Simmer, covered over Low heat 3 to 3-1/2 hours or until meat is tender. 4. Remove vegetable from bag and add to the stock pot during the last hour of cooking. Cooking: Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a 8 quart stock pot over medium heat. Brown meat 3 minutes per side. Cover
