Cleans & degreases surfaces contaminants from disc, drum, ABS braking systems & C.V.C. joints. Solder Seal/Gunk Brake Parts Cleaner is the fast-acting, deep-cleaning formula that the professionals know, and have trusted for decades. Brake Parts Cleaner quickly removes brake dust. High performance cleaner. Reduces brake noise. Cleans without disassembly. Improves brake action. Brake pads or linings that have been heavily soiled (impregnated) with oil or grease should be replaced, not cleaned. Consult a professional mechanic. To help retard the release of asbestos dust and other airborne particulate matter, follow the directions for use carefully and in numeric order. Professional users must read the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) before using this product. MSDS are available to anyone upon request.

Preparation Instructions

1. Protect rubber on plastic brake parts, seals, and painted surfaces from spray. 2. Lightly wet down surfaces to be cleaned by spraying in short bursts from a distance of 18 to 24 inches. Do not spray on hot metal surfaces like exhaust pipes. 3. After surfaces have been wetted, continue spraying at a distance of 12 to 18 inches to flush contaminants from surfaces. Spray brake parts thoroughly, then allow to air dry or wipe with soft clean cloth. If deposits are heavy, repeat application.

Do not place can on hot surfaces or in direct sunlight which could cause can to burst violently and cause serious injury. Store in a dry, well-ventilated area below 120 degrees F/49 degrees C. Do not puncture, crush or incinerate (burn) can. Breathing hazard: Do not breathe asbestos, dust particles, or vapors. Use only in a well-ventilated area, open doors and windows to prevent vapor build up. NIOSH approved respirator recommended; may be required for professional users; consult MSDS for exposure limits. Mechanical ventilation may be necessary to prevent a hazardous concentration of vapors if more than one container is used in less than a 5-minute period. Inhaling concentrated vapors, intentionally or otherwise, can cause permanent organ damage or can be fatal. Contact hazard: Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. Remove contact lenses before use. Skin absorption through prolonged or repeated contact can result in organ damage. Wear chemical goggles and solvent proof gloves and apron. Wash thoroughly after handling. Contains perchloroethlene, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer. First aid: For eye contact: Flush thoroughly with water for 15 minutes lifting upper and lower eyelids occasionally. If irritation persists, consult a physician. For skin contact: Wash thoroughly with soap and water. If swallowed, call physician immediately: Do not induce vomiting. Aspiration of vomitus into lungs can cause chemical pneumonitis, which can be fatal. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If inhaled, remove to fresh air, give artificial respiration or administer oxygen. Get medical attention. Note to physician: Adrenalin, or other stimulants should never be given to persons exposed to perchloroethylene. Disposal: Disposal of product runoff in water courses, sewers, or on the ground is prohibited. Proper disposal includes collecting and recycling. Always use and dispose of product, container, and residue in accordance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations. Emptied containers contain product residue, so follow all warnings even after container is emptied. Keep away from children.
