GTC Universal Full Strength Concentrate Antifreeze

Preparation Instructions

1. Drain: Draining removes loose nuts and sediment from the radiator. Drain cooling system following owner's manual instructions. When Disposing of Used Antifreeze/Coolant: Follow local laws and regulations. If required, dispose at facilities licensed to accept household hazardous waste. If permitted, dispose in sanitary sewer systems. Do not discard into storm sewers, septic systems or onto the ground. 2. Flush: Flushing cleans engine block. Close radiator drain valve. Fill radiator with clean water, leaving room for a quality cooling system flush/cleaner. Add flush/cleaner. Run engine with heater on high to normal operating temperature. Stop engine. Allow to cool. Drain cooling system again. Close drain valve. 3. Fill: See owner's manual for cooling system capacity and recommended change intervals. Install minimum 50%, maximum 70% GTC Antifreeze/Coolant Concentrate and water. Run engine to normal operating temperature with heater on high. Shut off engine. Allow to cool. Check coolant level. Add water or coolant again as necessary. Periodically check radiator and reservoir levels. Top off with a 50/50 mixture of antifreeze/coolant as needed.

Harmful or fatal if swallowed. Contains ethylene glycol (107-21-1), diethylene glycol (111-46-6), sodium 2-ethyl hexanoate (19766-89-3), sodium neodecanoate (31548-27-3) and water (7732-18-5). Precautionary Measures: Do not drink antifreeze or solution. Do not breathe mist or vapors. Avoid prolonged exposure. Avoid skin and eye contact. First Aid Treatment: If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Immediately call a Poison Control Center or hospital emergency department. If breathing is affected, move into fresh air. If in eyes, rinse thoroughly with water for 15 minutes. If on skin, remove contaminated clothing and wash skin well with soap and water. If irritation develops and persists, call a doctor. Ethylene glycol causes birth defects in laboratory animals. Solution is poisonous to animals. Keep out of reach of children. Do not remove radiator cap when engine is hot. See owner's manual for any special cooling system service instructions. Important Safety Information: Antifreeze/coolant is poisonous. Clean up any leaks or spills immediately. Tighten the child resistant cap and store antifreeze away from children and animals. Do not store antifreeze in open or unlabeled containers. Wash exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water after use.
