Preparation Instructions

Keep frozen. Microwave: Because microwaves cook differently, times are approximate. Do not microwave in bag. 1. Pour desired amount of vegetables and sauce chips (see chart below) into microwavable casserole or bowl. Do not add water. 2. Cover; microwave on High as directed in chart, stirring halfway through cook time, until sauce chips are melted and vegetables are thoroughly cooked and tender. Caution: dish will be hot; be careful to avoid steam. 3. Uncover carefully. Stir well; serve immediately. Refrigerate leftovers. Servings (1/2 cup cooked): 4-1/2; entire vegetables & sauce chips; 2-quart round microwavable casserole or bowl; 9 to 13 minutes cook time. Servings (1/2 cup cooked): 2; 1/2 bag (1-1/2 cups with 11 sauce chips) vegetables & sauce chips; 1-1/2-quart round microwavable casserole or bowl; 4 to 7 minutes cook time. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Microwave up to 5 minutes longer. Stove-Top: 1. Pour desire amount of vegetables, pasta and sauce chips (see chart below) into nonstick skillet or nonstick saucepan. Do not add water. 2. Cover; cook over Medium heat as directed in chart, stirring occasionally, until sauce chips are melted and vegetables are thoroughly cooked and tender. 3. Stir well; serve immediately. Refrigerate leftovers. Servings (1/2 cup cooked): 4-1/2; entire vegetables & sauce chips; 10-inch skillet or 2-quart saucepan; 12 to 14 minutes or 10 to 11 minutes. Servings (1/2 cup cooked): 2; 1/2 bag vegetables & sauce chips (about 1-1/2 cups with 11 sauce chips); 1-quart saucepan (skillet not recommended); 8 to 10 minutes. High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): For entire bag, use 10-inch nonstick skillet; cook up to 5 minutes longer.
