Red wine. 46% Napa County. 36% Sonoma County. 18% San Joaquin County. In 1964 Louis P. Martini, son of Napa pioneer Louis M. Martini, purchased 178 acres of land in the eastern hills of the Napa Valley. The Martini family developed this land into a vineyard which they named Ghost Pines as a tribute to the native grey pines which at dusk, appear to hover, solitary and ghost like throughout the coastal valleys. Ghost Pines Red Blend draws from multiple winegrowing counties to create a wine as unique as a Ghost Pine itself. Composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, Merlot, and Syrah, this wine exhibits rich flavors of red and blue fruit framed by soft, round tannins with a long, complex finish. Alc. 14.5% by vol. Vinted & Bottled by Louis M. Martini Winery.
