Shake contents well before using. What You'll Need: 1 package Fire & Flavor Ultimate Quick Chicken Brine; 1 quart water; 1-4 pounds chicken breasts, pieces, or whole chicken; 1 quart ice water. Brining: First dissolve brine mix and 1 quart of water in a large pot over medium heat. Do not boil; cool to room temperature. Next place chicken in a large, deep bowl and pour brine solution directly over meat. Add ice water and refrigerate for 40 minutes. Meat should be completely submerged under solution. Last remove meat form brine, pat dry, and grill, roast, saute, or fry as desired. Chicken must be cooked within 15 minutes of removing from brine. Brining 2 lbs and Under: Use half of brine mix and cut recipe in half. Brine for 40 minutes. Whole Chicken: Place in large bowl, breast side down.
