Stove Top Method: 1. Measure 2 cups of water into a saucepan with a tight fitting lid and bring to a boil. Add 1-2 tsp of butter or olive oil (optional) and salt to taste. 2. Stir in 1 cup of rice blend. 3. Cover saucepan with a tight fitting lid. Lower the heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is tender and all the water has been absorbed. Remove from heat and fluff with a fork. Microwave: 1. Combine 1 cup of rice blend with 2 cups of water, 1-2 tsp of butter or olive oil, and salt to taste, in a microwaveable dish with a cover. 2. Cover and microwave on High 100% power for 6 minutes. Stir. 3. Cover and combine to cook at 50% power for 15 minutes or until all water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork and serve. These are guidelines only as microwaves may vary. If microwave will not reduce setting to 50% power it is not recommended to use this cooking product.
